Our Expertise in Gold Extraction
We specialize in two key gold extraction methods:
VAT Leaching
A cost-effective process that uses a leach solution to dissolve gold from ore. The solution is then processed to recover the gold, making it a suitable choice for smaller-scale mining operations. VAT Leaching offers a low environmental impact and is ideal for regions where traditional extraction methods are not feasible.
Carbon-in-Leach (CIL)
A more advanced technique, CIL combines leaching and adsorption into a single process. After the gold is leached from the ore, it is adsorbed onto activated carbon, allowing for high gold recovery rates. This method is ideal for larger-scale operations and is more efficient, especially in high-grade ore deposits.

With over 18 years of experience in Gold mining, Ore Processing, and Refining, Vasanth has built a reputation for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and delivering strong returns for investors in resource-intensive markets. Under his stewardship, Aumex Ltd. has emerged as a trusted partner in advanced gold recovery technologies — including VAT leaching and Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) processes — driving value through responsible, high-efficiency extraction practices. He is also instrumental in Outreach initiative like building mining communities, helping them in Processing their Ore ether by training them on VAT leaching or helping them to maximize production by processing their Gold Ore on profit share & time share basis.

Sreedeep is the Chief Investment Officer of Aumex Ltd., where he leads investment strategy and portfolio management for high-impact gold extraction and mining ventures across East Africa. With more than 30 years of experience in Business Development, Client Management, and project investment, Sreedeep plays a central role in shaping the firm’s investment vision and delivering sustainable returns for stakeholders. Under his leadership, Aumex Ltd., has solidified its position as a trusted investment partner in the region, blending financial rigor with deep technical insight into mining operations, especially in VAT Leaching and Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) extraction technologies.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
Manish serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Aumex Ltd., where he leads all financial strategy, planning, and risk management for the firm’s gold extraction and mining investments across East Africa. With over 20 years of experience in Financial Management, corporate finance, and strategic financial planning, Manish, ensures the company’s financial integrity, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. He is proficient in raising and managing large Venture Capitals and International Grants. In a complex and dynamic industry like logistics and supply chain, FMCG, hospitality, healthcare and Mining his expertise provides a critical foundation for disciplined financial governance and value creation for investors and stakeholders alike.
SHIVA PRASAD
CHIEF TECHNICAL ADVISOR – MINING & ENGINEERING
Shiva is a Veteran Mining Engineer with over 32 years of experience in Open-Pit mining operations, Mine Planning and Production Optimization. He has worked as Mining Engineer in various mineral mines such as Gold, Coal and Limestone in India, Africa and Middle-East. He is Instrumental in Production Planning, Resource Evaluation and Geotechnical Engineering for the Contact Mining and Outreach initiatives of Aumex Ltd.

SENIOR TECHNICAL ADVISOR – METALLURGY & INNOVATION
Ryan is an experienced metallurgist with 20+ years of technical experience in Gold and copper mines and also specialized in Refining of Gold to bullion standards. He is instrumental to develop innovative Gold extraction techniques focused on minimizing the cost and maximizing the production efficiency. He guides our technical team regularly with his expertise in Metallurgy Technology.

SENIOR ADVISOR – GEOLOGY & MINING

SPECIALIST - GOLD PROCESSING & ELUTION
Over 10 years of experience in planning, building and operating carbon elution plants. Specialized in gold processing, elution and electrowinning technology. He is an expert in strategic operations to maximize gold recovery. He has experience in building elution plants in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
WINSTON NNKO
SENIOR GEOLOGIST
Geologist with Expertise in Mineral Exploration across East Africa, specialized in Geological analysis of various minerals such as Gold, Iron Ore, Graphite, Coal and Manganese across East Africa. He has successfully piloted and managed various mineral exploration projects in Tanzania, Kenya, and Somaliland, combining field expertise with advanced geological techniques to identify and evaluate high-potential deposits. Currently focused analyzing and identifying potential Gold deposits and enabling AUMEX to build strong network of contract miners, grounded in a deep understanding of regional geology and a commitment to sustainable practices. Passionate about unlocking the potential of untapped resources, I thrive on delivering innovative solutions and driving impactful outcomes in the mining industry.
ROBERT HUMPHREY
HEAD – BUSINESS EXPANSION & OUTREACH
Robert has his expertise in new business partnerships, building cooperatives among community miners across East Africa. He Captains the community outreach wing of Aumex Ltd., with his vast Knowledge and strong connections he connects with miners across the region who is in need of our expertise to support or partner with them in Gold extraction initiatives and also provide secure logistics and sales support to the artisanal miners and community mining partners.
ABDALLAH KILYAWAPE
MINING SPECILIST & COMMUNITY LAISING – TANZANIA
Abdallah is an experienced miner with over 15 years’ experience in Gold mining and VAT leaching in Tanzania. He is instrumental in securing partnerships with community miners and business expansion of AUMEX in Tanzania.
GLORIA NAKANJAKO
COMMUNITY LIAISING OFFICER - UGANDA
Gloria has hands-on experience in Uganda mainly in relationship building and networking with Gold mining communities. She is proficient in field assessments, documentation, Public relations, and reporting such as environmental compliance, Impact assessment and Public participation. She is instrumental in securing new extraction units in Uganda.
